The memory layer for everyday life.

Plans are made in chats and forgotten in chats. Forgeter is a messaging app with an AI assistant built in. It remembers plans, dates and to-dos as people talk, then acts on them when they say so.

Thesis

Reminders shouldn't need typing in.

The problem

Life is planned in chats, then lost in them.

Dinner plans, birthdays, errands and promises to call all happen in group chats and DMs. To remember them, people copy them by hand into a calendar or to-do app. Most never get copied.

Our approach

Put the memory where the plans are made.

Forgeter is the chat app itself. It catches plans as they happen, offers to save them with one tap, and reminds people at the right time or the right place, like when they walk into the store.

Why now

AI can finally understand a conversation and act on it.

Language models can now reliably pull plans out of casual chat and handle real tasks, such as calling a restaurant to book a table. Forgeter puts that into an app people already open dozens of times a day.

The product today

A complete app, not a demo feature.

The prototype covers the full daily loop: talk, remember, get reminded, get it done.

  • Chats and groups with photos, voice notes, documents, live location and translation.
  • Memories. Forgeter catches plans, dates and to-dos in conversation and adds them to Plans with one tap.
  • Plans. Scheduled messages, important dates with birthday wishes ready to send, and place reminders that fire on arrival or departure.
  • The assistant. Texts, calls and sets reminders, and always asks first.
  • Translation. Write in your language and Forgeter sends it in theirs: English, Spanish, Hebrew, French, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, German and more. It offers to turn on when a contact reads another language.
  • AI calls. Forgeter phones a business, asks your questions and texts back the answers, with clear AI and recording disclosure.
  • Feed. A personal catch-up that connects news to your plans, plus status posts.
Business model

Free to join. Three ways to earn.

$4.99/month

Forgeter Plus

Or $39.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial. Plus removes ads and adds unlimited place reminders, 30 AI calls a month and early features. Billed through Apple and Google.

Feed ads

Ads on the free plan

Clearly labeled sponsored posts in the feed, never inside private chats. Local businesses can reach people at the moment they're making plans, like a restaurant's Friday special.

3 → 30 calls

AI calls as the upgrade

Free users get 3 AI calls a month. Once someone has had Forgeter book a table for them, Plus becomes an easy yes. Calls are metered, so the cost of serving them stays predictable.

Growth

Every feature pulls in another person.

Messaging spreads person to person. Forgeter adds reasons to invite people that come straight from the product.

  1. Shared important dates. When someone shares a birthday or anniversary, it pops up for their contacts a few days before, with a message ready to send.
  2. Group invite links. One link brings a whole friend group, team or family onto Forgeter.
  3. Contact discovery. New users see which friends are already on Forgeter and can invite the rest in one tap.
  4. Status and feed. Posts give friends a reason to open the app every day, even when nobody is messaging.
